2014 Top Shop Award Winners
Congratulations to the 2014 Top Shop Award winners, which were recognized Monday, April 7th during the OneAero MRO Golf Invitational luncheon in Phoenix, Arizona. After a perfect day of golf, nearly 100 participants assembled for lunch at the Arizona Grand Resort and Spa to pay tribute to the winners of this year’s awards. In previous years the awards were presented during the MRO Americas® trade show, however this year OneAero MRO implemented a new format by combining a golf tournament, luncheon and awards ceremony the day before the start of the exhibition.
Said Kevin Meade, award recipient for Xtra Aerospace, “What a great way to start the MRO! We enjoyed a great morning of golf, and then had the opportunity to receive the Top Shop Award.” OneAero MRO President, Justin Spaulding, also expressed his thoughts about this year’s event, “We’re pleased with the results of this year’s first golf invitational and awards banquet. Due to the favorable response from our customers, we’re excited to repeat the same format next year in Miami.”

How are Winners Chosen?
All winners of the Top Shop Awards are nominated, and ultimately selected, by aviation industry peers. At the end of the nomination period, OneAero MRO tabulates all the nominations to create a “short list” of finalists. The Finalists list is then presented to a panel of 40 airlines and suppliers, from around the world. These 40 airlines and suppliers are responsible for selecting the winners from the short list of finalists.
